Gearhart’s public sports hub is located at 321 1st Ave. It features free-to-use facilities that include two tennis courts, lined pickleball courts with nets, and a basketball hoop. It sits parallel to Gearhart City Park. Public website info indicates they operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Rental houses should have racquets to borrow. More info here and here.

Apparently Gearhart Golf Links is the oldest course west of the Mississippi River (I had no idea!). We have a booking for Monday morning, August 10 – let Dave know if you can join! Daughter's identifies as a coastal bistro and bottle shop. Lovely wine selection and even lovelier small plates. The patio is perfection. Good spot for daydreaming and recovering. Peek their Instagram for more.
